A very moisturizing creamy wash designed to gently wash away dirt and bacteria without stripping your baby’s skin of its natural oils. Formulated with a very minimal number of gentle organic ingredients to help baby’s very sensitive and eczema-prone skin. In fact, there are only 7 ingredients in this simple pure and wholesome wash and shampoo! Lavender oil is great for calming fussy babies (and tired parents). This wash smells SO beautiful! We only use organic Lavender oil from France (Lavandula Angustifolia).
Did you know? Baby’s skin is far more permeable and reactive for the first 2 years of their life. This product is formulated with a minimal number of safe, gentle and wholesome ingredients that will gently cleanse and hydrate your baby’s delicate and sensitive skin.
Directions: Apply 1 pump on your hand and massage onto baby’s damp skin and head avoiding the eye area. Create a creamy lather and gently rinse off thoroughly.
While this wash is great for all babies and toddlers, the shampoo function is designed only for fine infant hair. The shampoo function is not recommended for older children with more mature hair.
Other Uses: This is a super, non-drying facial cleanser that is especially gentle around the eye area. Wonderful for sensitive, dry, or mature skin. We also found this gentle moisturizing shampoo great on pets, especially anxious pets or pets with sensitive skin issues!
The truth is, not all organic brands are created equal and regulations on what constitutes a true organic product aren’t very stringent. This means that a product can claim to be organic and only contain one organic ingredient. Shoosha is truly organic because all the products are certified food grade organic- that means there are absolutely no synthetic chemicals, pesticides or non-food ingredients in any Shoosha product. Shoosha is literally, pure and safe enough to eat.
Independent studies show that up to 60% of what you put on your baby’s skin is absorbed into the bloodstream. Since your baby’s skin is up to 30% thinner and more porous than adult skin, it can absorb more chemicals and toxins than you do. Your baby’s skin doesn’t have the ability to detoxify these chemicals as her/his skin is still developing during the first year of life. Skin is their (and our) largest organ, and with babies in particular, it requires special attention.
Take a look at the ingredients that make up the products you are putting on your baby’s new skin. Are the products USDA certified? In order to make an organic claim or use the USDA Organic Seal, manufacturers must follow strict production and handling standards as well as go through the organic certification process. If they don’t, ask yourself why not? Always look for the USDA certification when buying baby skin care products.
Our USDA seal is our promise to you because Organics means little if it’s not true.
